Jasper Johns Exhibition
The RA’s latest title, Jasper Johns, accompanies the exhibition ‘Jasper Johns: Something Resembling Truth’. The exhibition displays over 150 of Jasper Johns’ works from the past six decades – the first comprehensive survey of the artist to be held in the UK for 40 years. Showcasing a mix of older and more recent works, this is an excellent overview of his oeuvre, and a must-see for anyone with an interest in this iconic American artist.
You can find all the information about this exhibition here. The exhibition will run from 23rd September until 10th December at the Royal Academy of Arts in London.
If you would like to know more about the artist before going to the exhibition, the RA’s Jasper Johns is a great place to start. The title is a study of one of America's greatest contemporary artists illustrated with his paintings, sculptures, drawings and collages, and with texts written by leading academic experts.
